TEAM Z: The Strengths and Skills of My Team

As the world evolves, so do the problems that we face.

The need for new and innovative solutions has never been more important. This is where technopreneurship comes into play, a field that combines technology and entrepreneurship to create solutions to these emerging problems.

Technopreneurship requires a well-rounded team with diverse skills and expertise to succeed. The "hustler, hacker, hipster" guide is a popular approach in identifying the key roles that are essential in any startup. The "hustler" focuses on marketing, sales, and fundraising, while the "hacker" is the technical expert responsible for developing the product or service, and the "hipster" is the creative genius responsible for design and user experience.

At TEAM Z, we used this guide to form our team. Charisse Mae Adis and Marvin Tagolimot Jr., with programming and development experience, became the hackers, while Alyssa Vallejos, with design experience, became the Hipster. I, with public speaking experience, became the Hustler.

Our team then proceeded with brainstorming and sharing ideas, and interviewed 5 people each to understand common problems. This allowed us to create solutions that were aligned with our potential users or clients. One of the keys to our success was diversity. We each brought different perspectives and approaches to problem-solving, which helped us create a well-rounded solution. This is important because it allows for a range of ideas and approaches, which can lead to a better understanding of the problem and a more effective solution.

After conducting a brainstorming session, our team generated three potential solutions: ANI, ParkFinder, and Transport.

ANI, also known as the Agribusiness Network Integration System, is a mobile application that aims to address the gap between farmers and consumers. The platform facilitates a direct connection between them, eliminating the need for intermediaries. As a result, farmers can receive fair prices for their produce, while consumers can obtain fresh goods at a reduced cost. ANI tackles the issue of unequal profit distribution in the agriculture industry.

ParkFinder is a mobile application that assists drivers in locating available parking spaces in their vicinity. The app utilizes real-time data from sensors or cameras installed in parking lots and on-street parking spaces to display which spaces are unoccupied. It may also include information on parking regulations and pricing to help users find the optimal parking option. ParkFinder provides a solution to the problem of limited parking spaces and the inconvenience of driving around in search of a spot.

Lastly, Transport is a mobile application that displays the available vehicles for users to ride to reach their destination. It includes updates on the minimum fare to prevent users from being scammed. Transport provides a solution for individuals who face difficulties commuting, particularly in unfamiliar locations.

After brainstorming and sharing our ideas, we were able to identify potential solutions to common problems. However, coming up with ideas is just the first step. To turn these ideas into successful ventures, we need to conduct market research, identify our target market, and develop a solid business plan.

Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur or someone who wants to make a difference in the world, brainstorming ideas and identifying solutions to common problems is a great way to start. Who knows, your idea might just be the next big thing.
